Broject only collects what it needs to find you a pack, run your Brojects and keep the platform safe. This policy explains what we hold, why, and how we look after it.
What we collect
- Account details: email, display name, date of birth (to confirm you're 18+).
- Profile info: avatar, bio, location, skills and interests you choose to add.
- How you use Broject: Brojects you start or join, missions, roles, messages in pack chat.
- Behaviour signals: which Brojects you open, save or skip, so matching gets better for you.
- Technical basics: device type and rough location, to keep things working and secure.
Why we use it
To find you the right pack and Brojects, to let your pack communicate and coordinate, to keep the platform safe and legal, and to improve matching over time from how you actually behave, not just what you typed in.
Keeping it legal, safe and respectful
We use your data to enforce our zero-tolerance rule on illegal or harmful behaviour. That includes checking reports, removing bad actors, shutting down Brojects that break the rules, and handing serious matters to the authorities when we have to.
Every Broject carries the Week 1 task to check it is legal, safe and respectful. We may act on reports or patterns that suggest a Broject has skipped that step.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is open. If you close your account, your Brojects, conversations and connections are deleted. We keep some records where the law requires it, or to prevent abuse, even after an account closes.
Your rights
You can see, correct or delete the personal data we hold on you from your profile, or by contacting us. Closing your account removes your data as described above.
AI features
Broject uses AI to draft plans, suggest roles and help you along. Anything AI produces is shown to you as a draft to review. We do not use your private pack messages to train public models.
No one under 18
Broject is for people 18 and over. We use date of birth to enforce this. If we learn someone under 18 has an account, we remove it.
